While I’m thinking up a playlist that can even remotely embody the confused, vaguely existant, prepubescent sieve that is the Michigan defense, I thought I’d post a track I recently came across by Warm Ghost. Just the right amount of synth to make you forget what the concept of defense is and to convince yourself that next weekend’s game will be anything but a flaming car crash.
Yes, I knew exactly when I was doing when I elected to compose the offensive playlist. The other side of the ball has, unfortunately, been a “That’s When I Reach for My Revolver” inducing experience more often than not. “Like Like the the the Death” by Silver Jews might also work. I think the lyric “Nobody cares ’bout a dead hooker” really gets to the heart of the matter.
Haha, “Like Like the the Death” is definitely on the short list. Also being considered: “Nowhere Nothin’ Fuckup”, “Toast”, “The Freshmen”, “Pain”, and “Lost Cause” amongst others. I’ll have it up soon.
Also, I’ve been all over that Enon album you traded me a while back. “In This City” and “Carbonation” are too cool for their own good.
